Overall Description
Devices represent the endpoints of the MESS and are generally controlled by their own specific software, with its own information and service model. In order to connect to the MESS a CPS needs to adapt its arbitrary service model to the one prescribed by the MESS, which simplifies and standardizes this mechanism.
